Pistons Head To South Beach Tonight At 7:30

With all the talk about Cleveland, some have forgotten that the Miami Heat still have one more game to play before they head out to Ohio. Tonight, the Piston's will travel to South Beach to take on the Heat.

The Pistons come into the game off a loss to Orlando. With a 6-12 record, they are not having the best start to their season. However, they are an explosive set of guys who can easily put together a strong performance in Miami. They are a formidable opponent and should not be overlooked.

Miami has a lot going on right now. The coaching situation, the injuries, and the constant scrutiny can all have an impact on tonight's game. The goal is to stay focused. I saw a lot of guys step up against Washington. That is great to see, but now they have to keep up that same pace against the Pistons. Everyone on this team needs to do their part to put up some points, crash the boards, and play tough defense.

LeBron is under the most pressure of anyone (even more than Coach Spo). He knows that tomorrow night he has to play what will probably be the hardest game of his career. However, LeBron is a champion. Furthermore, LeBron is a champion with a temper. I look for him to take out all his frustration on the Pistons and Cavs in the next two games. James has always been booed in cities like Detroit and New York and has always been able to put on a show. I expect him to do some serious scoring tonight and give Cleveland a little preview of what they are in for.

Wade needs to be here in the next few games for LeBron. When LeBron is feeling overwhelmed, Wade needs to provide the support. I look for him to score at least 20 tonight with most of that scoring the second half. Wade likes to take over in the second half, and Miami tends to play much better when he does.

Bosh needs to just be Bosh. He is always improving and progressing with the Miami roster, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I want to see a double double out of the big man.

As for everyone else, play the game. I don't want to break this down into individual players because the the whole team needs to be involved here. Miami played some great basketball against Wizards and what I loved the most about that game was the team work and intensity. Lets see that again tonight.

I know the Cavs are in the rear view, but LeBron and the Heat have to look ahead. I want to see them go out there tonight and make a statement. Bring the Heat.
