Heat head to Memphis tonight at 8

The Heat are feeling it now. 3 games in a row, and the big 3 are looking GOOD. With a 2-0 division record, and the great basketball they put together in the last 2 minutes of last night's game against Charlotte, Miami has to be feeling pretty good about themselves. Only question is, can the keep up the intensity away form South Beach?

Memphis comes into this game with only 4 wins and 9 losses. Rudy Gay and O.J Mayo, however, make for a great back court combination. Marc Gasol has been steadily improving, and Zach Randolf is going to serve his role as the anchor of this team. Memphis likes to get out and run the ball, but have been giving up a lot of points as of late.

I expect the Heat to be play some great basketball tonight. I think the booing they receive in away games is more motivation to play harder than cheering at home. The Heat are now confident that Bosh can pick up his game at will. Look for him to dominate the younger, less experienced, Marc Gasol.

As for James, we should expect some great basketball(don't we always?). He seems to have found his place in the big 3 and accepts the role of leader, especially when D Wade is not 100 percent. Wade tends to get banged up a lot, so down the stretch it is more likely we will see LeBron take more of the leadership responsibilities(although Wade is just as good of a leader). Plenty of analysts and guys around the locker room have talked about how James is always communicating with team mates during practice. That is the type of leadership we would like to see. LeBron brings the intensity, Wade brings the knowledge of the offense, and Bosh is your silent leader who likes to lead by example. This dynamic will be great for bringing the team together.

As far as scores and points for tonight's game, I have some ideas. I think LeBron will continue to fill up the scoring column with Wade not feeling well. He should have at least 25 points with a few assists and rebounds. Bosh should also be somewhere in the 20's. I expect him to drop at least 20 points on Marc Gasol, and get the double double. Chris has been playing some great ball, and I expect that to continue. Hopefully LeBron can find Bosh like he found D Wade last night.
Expect to see plenty of that this season.

As far the bench, I expect them to be consistent. As long as the bench is putting up between 5 and 10 points each, that should be enough to pull of the W. Jones and House should knock down some 3's, and I would like to see if Chalmers continues to get more minutes.

My X factor in this game is Big Z. This guy has been doing great work int he starting line up, and I would like to see him dominate the boards and get some put back buckets. I know he is getting up there in age, but he is playing some solid basketball right now.

My final prediction, Miami beat Memphis by 15.

Miami, keep up the great play, keep up the intensity, and keep running up that score board!
Get em!
