Why LeBron will overcome

LeBron James has faced a lot of scrutiny since he chose to go to Miami, to say the least. Now, on top of that, he has to deal with being on a team that did not meet the world's ridiculously high expectations in the first two weeks. This is a lot to deal with for any man, but I think LeBron is going to respond positively, and heres why.

From being called king at the age of 16, to being handed a 90 million dollar contract before setting foot on the court, LeBron has always carried weight other than his on his shoulders. Quite frankly, I think he has to be getting used to it by now. I mean, he had to deal with living up to expectation when he went  to private school, and then living up to the expectations of every draft analyst ever, living up to the expectations of the Cavs and the basketball nation. He has gone above and beyond so many times, and with him entering what should be the prime basketball seasons of his life, he is more revved up then every to get the job done.

People are so willing to throw the big 3 under the bus right now, and LeBron is their first choice. But I do not know why someone expected them to play so well so early on. Wade was hurt with a foot injury and Bosh and James had to adapt to a new offense. Personally, I am very satisfied with what I am seeing so far. Sure, there are holes, but that is part of the building process. Sometimes we need to break the walls down in order to build stronger ones.

James is a born leader, it does not take an genius to see that. He is going to prove everyone wrong and go above and beyond expectations as he has many times before. I have the utmost confidence in his ability and leadership qualities, and I know that when it gets down to crunch time late in the season and playoffs, he will do ANYTHING to win. Lets not throw those championship hats away just yet, there is still a whole lot of basketball to play
